Fix Microsoft Planner Not Working on Windows 11 Quickly

Having trouble with Microsoft Planner on your Windows 11 device? Here are some effective solutions to get it working smoothly again.

What can I do if Microsoft Planner is not working?​

1. Ensure All Team Members Follow the Group Inbox​

  1. Open Microsoft Teams and navigate to the team where you're experiencing notification issues.
  2. Click on the More Options (three dots) next to the team name and select Manage Team.
  3. Go to the Settings tab and click on Member Permissions.
  4. Make sure that all team members are subscribed to the Group Inbox by clicking on the Subscribe button next to their names if they are not already subscribed.
This ensures that all team members receive notifications for comments made in Planner. By following the Group Inbox, members will receive notifications and updates directly to their email inboxes.

2. Check Notification Settings in Planner​

  1. Open Microsoft Planner from the web (https://tasks.office.com/).
  2. Click on the gear icon (Settings) in the top right corner and select Notifications.
  3. Ensure that the Someone assigns a task to me and A task assigned to me is late options are checked.
  4. Click Save to apply these settings.
