100% Disk Usage Caused by "System" Process in Windows

My computer suddenly becomes unresponsive, and Task Manager shows the "System" process using 100% of the disk. This happens randomly, even when nothing is open.
I tried various fixes, including resetting Windows while keeping my files, but the problem persists. Any ideas on how to resolve this issue?
