2 Factor Authentication error with MS-authenticator: change to the app

I'm having a 2 Factor Authentication error with Microsoft Authenticator. The Microsoft Login Window within the app prompts me to switch to the app and enter a code, even though I'm already on the app. If I try to cancel the login, I cannot enter the code. What should i do next?
I'm on iOS.
