2024-08 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 (KB5042099) causing crashes and restarts

What is going on??? Anyone else having this issue?

My computer automatically downloaded and installed the updates:

Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 23H2 for x64 (KB5042099)
2024-08 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 23H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5041585)
Now, my computer blue screens, crashes, and restarts itself approximately every 20 minutes with no specific activity triggering it. As a business owner, this is incredibly frustrating, especially when I lose my work.

Everything was fine before these updates. Any suggestions or fixes are greatly appreciated.
