Change default file extension associations is borked !

1. I can't get win 11 22h2 to put "always" back in the Open With for a jpg file. It just has "just once". Freaking pissing me off.
   I removed windows photos app as one site suggest but now it just opens in "windows print" whatever that is.
2. i'm trying to associate all images with irfanview
