hi

I select some font modifications through cleartype windows 11 but it does not happen

The video shows that the change that is selected via the image does not take place after restarting the computer. The new options are not changed. Only the old options are present and appear.

As I understand it, cleartype makes the current font looks better, it does not change it.
Am I wrong?

Hello dear yes I have a problem with the font not appearing clearly It appears faded and not bold, as an example of the Edge browser

1. Try this Right Click anywhere on the desktop thats blank and choose Properties > Appearance Tab > Effects and tick "Use the following to smooth the edges of screen fonts" then choose from the drop down list "Cleartype" > OK > Apply (or also set it to "Standard" and see if that is better)

2. Turning off the smoothing of fonts .. System, Advanced system settings.
