Hello! This file CrossDevice.Streaming.Source.dll just appeared on my desktop. I did an antivirus quick scan and no issues were found. Should I be worried?

The antivirus scan was good but you should also check file properties. Right-click on the file, select Properties and find info under Details tab. Is the file part of a legitimate application?

Try to delete it once again, then run dism sfc scans, and check the scanning information to see if any problems have been detected and fixed. Then, re-register all .dll files. Search for cmd in the start menu, find Command Prompt and select Run as administrator. Type in this command and press Enter: for %x in (c:windowssystem32*.dll) do regsvr32 %x

Hi, did you manage to remove the CrossDevice.Streaming.Source.dll? It also just keeps coming back even when I delete it

Hi,

I too noticed this file. If you are playing any Riot Game It's related to that. There's bug in last update which is creating this file. It should be auto deleted when you close the game. But due to bug it's not getting deleted. We should wait for an update from Riot for this.
