Did the update from windows 10 to windows 11. normally I delete the .old within a day or two. But I could NOT. Found I may have to wait 10 days.
10 days up, still can't delete Windows.old (29.6Gb) WHY?

Do you leave your computer running 24/7?

If so, try a restart. Normally you should not have to delete it, it goes automatically.

No idea why it should have happened to you, but it may be locked in MS storage.

Open the settings - System - Storage., and see if it is there for deletion. Run the storage cleanup if necessary
