File explorer loading for too long, then freezes

Hello,

Whenever I open File Explorer and click on any file, it takes several minutes to load. When I try to close it because I don't have time to wait for 10 minutes for one file to load, my taskbar freezes. It remains frozen until I turn my computer off by holding the power button.

This issue started happening recently, and I feel it might be a virus, but I haven't downloaded anything recently.
