File--show more options "fix" doesn't work (registry, etc). now what?

Work laptop was auto-updated via group policy to win11 over the weekend. File Explorer has the "show more options" instead of delete, copy, etc, when you right-click a file. NONE of the "fixes" work.

The registry hack is on...nada. No effect. Very annoying.

When you right-click in Windows 11, you will see a modern Context Menu. At the bottom, one of the options is Show more options, which is almost useless as it repeats the same options. If you prefer a condensed, organized Context Menu, you can easily remove Show more options.

turns out that running as an administrator account wasn't good enough. I had to put the user account into the local admins group, reboot, do the registry script and then it worked. that BS shouldn't have to happen.
