ASUS TUF Gaming A15 FA 506IU
AMD Ryzen 7 4800H
Ram 16.0GB
Windows 11 Home Ver 24H2
OS Build 26100.2454

Problem: On start up will show ASUS Logo and rotating circle -THEN STOP.
I hold down the power button - to shut down & then repower up - usually it will fully bootup the second time, with no apparent problems. If I now "shut down", and power up, it will start without any problem.
This has been doing this for a couple on months.
Any suggestions please, on how to resolve this.
Thanks Nod

  1. Turn off Fast Startup (Best Step):
    • Go to Control Panel > Power Options > Choose what the power buttons do.
    • Click Change settings that are currently unavailable, then uncheck Turn on fast startup. Save and restart.
  2. Update BIOS and Drivers:
    • Check for BIOS and driver updates on the ASUS support website for your model.
  3. Run a Disk Check:
    • Open Command Prompt as Admin, type chkdsk /f /r, and restart when asked.
  4. Run System File Check:
    • In Command Prompt (Admin), type sfc /scannow to fix corrupted files.
  5. Clean Boot:
    • Type msconfig in the search bar, disable non-Microsoft services and startup programs, then restart.
Start with turning off Fast Startup—it's the most likely fix!
