We bought a 55 in LG Smart 4K UHD TV 55 (Model No: 55UK6540PTD) in 2018. Over the years, it became less and less functional. At first, we could stream wirelessly from all our devices - phones, computers, etc. About 2 years ago, it stopped supporting wireless streaming from our devices, so we connected via HDMI. Later, we couldn't even watch streaming TV like ABC. This year, I got a new computer running Windows 11. It won't recognise the laptop and vice versa. It shows that they're connected but there's no image and the TV says there's no signal (although the TV shows there's something connected at the HDMI). I think it's a problem with the drivers. It's a real pity LG has stopped supporting the TV. It's working fine otherwise. I'm hoping we can use it as a monitor via the HDMI cable. Better still if wireless. Does anyone know how we can do this?

My Tv does not stream as well anymore (it is older than yours). I worked around it by using a Roku stick to stream (Sometimes a firestick works as well).
In regard of the HDMI: You might have a bad cable. I just connected my new laptop to my old TV (its 13 years old) and it worked from the get go. No drivers needed (Win11 24H2)
