I’m having trouble changing the font and font size in Windows 11. None of the methods I’ve found so far have worked, and the default font is really bothering me—I’m struggling to read it.

Does anyone know how to properly change the font and font size? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

The default on large monitors for me is usually resolved by going to Display Settings [right-click of a blank area on the Desktop], making sure the Resolution is set as Recommended and the Scale is increased, usually can be 125%, 150% or 175%. Choice of Font can be looked at in Control Panel, Fonts, double-click one to view. The larger the monitor usually needs a larger Scale percentage, I use 21", 24" and 27". Changing the System Font can be more involved.

The best way to do it is using WinaeroTweaker: https://winaerotweaker.com/
Works really like a charm ! Changes the registry (back and forth) without need for you to do it manually. The "scaling" methods of Windows all have more or less negative effects somewhere (overlapping, parts of windows not readable or similar disadvantages).

Here is an explantion how to change the text size (with and without Winaero-Tweaker) only: https://winaero.com/how-to-change-text-size-in-windows-11/

But you also completely change the system font (and tune many other things) with winaerotweaker !
