Hello,
Is there a method to prevent users from installing software via the MS Store (both desktop and web) while still permitting updates for software installed through the MS Store? Current Intune policy options either block the desktop client while allowing web access, or completely restrict the MS Store including updates.
Are there any solutions, such as Intune policy adjustments, Group Policy Objects (GPO), or registry modifications, to achieve this? Additionally, would blocking the MS Store URL via Defender SmartScreen theoretically solve this issue, or would it also impact software updates?
Thank you.
