I'm experiencing frequent changes in power mode, switching every 3 seconds. Is there a method to uninstall or completely disable this feature? It appears that my laptop might be toggling between dedicated and integrated graphics cards.
The GPU core clock and memory clock continuously fluctuate between minimum (300MHz) and maximum (1200MHz) resulting in prolonged lag spikes and brief freezes. The intensity of these fluctuations increases with the demand of tasks or games.
Both the power settings in the system settings and within MSI Dragon Centre keep oscillating between ECO and TURBO modes. Even when I select the high-performance power plan, the system automatically switches between settings, despite stating that power cannot be altered.
Here's what I've done so far:
Using Nvidia settings to enforce the exclusive use of dedicated graphics.
Deleting all power settings in the system settings, leaving only ultra performance.
Performing a clean installation of all drivers and even wiping and reinstalling Windows.
This issue renders my dedicated RTX graphics card completely unusable. Is there a way to deactivate battery-saving mode or power mode switching entirely?
