How to Stop GET /eSCL/ScannerStatus HTTP/1.1 from Printing

My printer is prompted to print "GET /eSCL/ScannerStatus HTTP/1.1" at the top of pages, usually from drawer #2, which is for envelopes. I have an Epson WF-4740. Online information suggests this is a widespread issue. I contacted Epson, and they said it's a Microsoft problem. Despite trying every suggested fix, the problem persists. This is extremely frustrating what can I do to stop it?
