I'm experiencing audio quality issues

When i play music on my laptop without a headset, the audio is fine. However, when i plug in my headset, the sound quality drops significantly, resembling the flat, tinny sound you might hear during an online meeting on Zoom, Google Meet, or Discord, even though i'm not participating in any meetings. The audio lacks bass and sounds strange.

The quality is very bad but when I play songs through my Bluetooth speaker, the sound is normal. The headset works fine on my phone so i don't think it's the problem. I've tried restarting, uninstalling, and updating the driver based on suggestions from Google and YouTube, but nothing has worked.

Does anyone know how to solve this issue? It used to work fine without any problems.
