Lenovo LOQ 15 freezes when plugged in to charge

I’ve had the Lenovo Legion LOQ 15 for a few months, and I recently encountered an issue where the laptop freezes and displays a black screen as soon as it’s plugged in to charge. The laptop works fine and retains charge, but this freezing problem happens consistently whenever it's connected to power. If I unplug it and restart, it starts normally.
This issue began after a system update but it persists even after uninstalling the most recent update.
How can I resolve this?
