M1-Win64 Shipping.exe - Bad Image error

I recently downloaded The First Descendant from Steam to my C drive. When trying to open the game, I receive a "M1-Win64 Shipping.exe - Bad Image" error. The error message states: "C:\Windows\System32\ResampleDmo.DLL is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support. Error status 0xc000012f."

I’ve updated all apps in the Microsoft Store and run sfc /scannow in Command Prompt, but the issue persists. What else can I try to fix this error?

I'm no game and only responding because there's no other and because there's no information given about your computer the first question should be, does your computer hardware meet the requirements of using Steam and the game?
