Marking a thread I created as resolved or terminated

My thread has been answered- how do I mark it completed?

You and me both mate, it doesn't seem like the sister site windows 10 where you can do this. I wish someone say where the button is hidden on this site.

It's possible to do this, but only if the topic was posted as a "question" rather than a general thread. When you click "new thread", you'll see you can post it as a question, poll or discussion. It's a question, you can mark the correct answer as solved once complete.
