Miracast Stopped Working After Update

My HP laptop supports miracast to smart TVs and has worked correctly until recent W11 updates in the last part of December 2024. Now it attempts to connect to the TV but the video never shows up on the TV and then the connection is dropped. I hadn't changed anything on the computer, except for the automatic update that was installed on the laptop. I often use this feature, so this is a big downgrade of my laptop capabilities. The laptop is an HP 15.6 inch PC 15-fd0000 model. Has anyone figured out how to fix this glitch! I tried a system restore, but this did nothing.

Try press WIN key+K and at the right side popup selecr More Cast Setting .. from there you can see available devices for you to select

All of the devices I previously used are still listed as available, they just do not connect anymore.

If you see any devices connected, disconnect it .. the power off the device, after few seconds power ON again and retry connect
