My PC is directly connected via ethernet cable,
the TV is getting WIfi
Both on the same network.
Is it possible to wirelessly send imagery
from PC to TV?
When I hit Win+K it states my device does not
support Mracast.
Does a workaround exist that does not
require buying more cables or gear?

Thanks in advance.

Hi .. commonly, Android TV has built in casting support and make sure your TV supports Miracast .. :)
Android tv????
My Hisense Roku TV supports Miracast
My desktop pc states it does not,
although when it was relying on wi-fi, it did.
Nw that my desktop pc is connected to the internet
through an ethernet cable, it says it doesn't.

Hi @Phoenix !

It sounds like your TV supports Miracast, but your PC is having trouble with it now that it's on Ethernet. Here’s a workaround you can try that doesn’t require buying new equipment:
  1. Ensure Wi-Fi is Enabled on Your PC: Even if you’re connected via Ethernet, your PC needs to have Wi-Fi enabled for Miracast to work.
    • Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi and make sure it's turned on.
  2. Use Windows Projecting Feature:
    • Open Settings > System > Projecting to this PC.
    • Under "Some Windows and Android devices can project to this PC when you say it’s OK," select "Available everywhere."
    • Set up your PC to allow projection, then try using Win + K again to cast to your TV.
  3. Reconnect to Wi-Fi Temporarily:
    • Try disconnecting the Ethernet cable and connecting your PC to the Wi-Fi network temporarily to see if the Miracast option becomes available again. Sometimes switching networks can reset the connection.
Let me know if any of these steps help! If your PC still doesn’t support Miracast, you might need to look into a Miracast adapter for your TV as a last resort, but hopefully, these steps will get you going without any new gear.
