My link speed is capped at 100mbps on windows 11 home

Please help! How can i increase my link speed? long story short, i adjusted all my settings in my network tab. i have set my duplex and speed to 1gb to correspond with my new wifi speeds
it doenst matter what i do, my system is still capping its link speed at 100mbps, how do i increase it?

Go to Device Manager, expand the Network adapters, right-click on your Wi-Fi network adapter, and select Properties. Here, click on the Advanced tab.
Is there any setting which might be affecting?

What I am missing is what kind of network adapter you have. Yours might not be able to do faster speeds than 100mbps, no matter what your router can provide.

Please post a screenshot of your settings. It should look like this (this is the USB Lan adapter I use for my Laptop):

BTW: Have you restarted your computer/Router after making the changes??
