Hi everyone,
Two weeks ago, while shutting down my PC, I accidentally clicked on the "Update and Shutdown" option. When it seemed to be taking too long, I performed a force shutdown by holding the power button. The next day, when I tried to turn on my laptop, the screen was completely black with no light. I’ve been using my laptop by connecting it to a TV via HDMI, but it takes at least 20 minutes for the display to show up on the TV, and sometimes it doesn’t display at all.
I’ve asked a friend, and he suggested that the display cable or graphics might be broken. What confuses me is why it takes so long to display on the TV, and why it sometimes shows a light but no image before going black again. What should I do to fix this? Thanks!
