My Windows 11 Widget is in Chinese and It's Censored!!

I have no idea why the widget in my windows 11 is in Chinese and has an authorization code from the Chinese police...

My entire system is in English, and widget is the only thing in Chinese. I bought the machine (surface 6) in China many many years ago but I assumed that microsoft wouldn't allow censorship backdoors on machines sold in China. Am I wrong?

Wouldn't allow censorship backdoors on machines sold in China? They'd have zero choice in the matter. If they want to sell anything in China, they have to play by China's rules. Period. End of story. It's actually the same with most countries, except (and I'll stop right there).
