Play or scrow videos cpu error

I took my computer to repair center and they could not find a problem. they cleaned it added two fans.
still aproblem. it happens periodially at times, but today it crashed 4 times.
I scrowl thru videos. computer games playing them no problem.

asustek prime z690-p d4

BIOS Version/Date American Megatrends Inc. 0407, 9/13/2021
drive ssd.
help appreciated.

Since your BIOS is from 2021, maybe check if there's an update available on the ASUS site. Updating it might help. Also, make sure your graphics drivers are the latest ones because outdated drivers can cause issues. Even though you added new fans, keep an eye on your CPU and GPU temps - overheating might still be a problem. And double-check if your power supply is strong enough, as a weak PSU can lead to random crashes.

It might help to check the Windows Event Viewer for any errors around the time your PC crashes; it can give you a clue about what's going wrong.

Try running your computer in Safe Mode if it doesn't crash there, it could be a software or driver issue. Don't forget to do a full malware scan just in case, as malware can sometimes cause random crashes. If the crashes happen with a specific video player or browser, try reinstalling those apps.
