Whenever I play almost any game, my GPU spikes up and down in Task Manager, causing severe stuttering every few seconds. I know my GPU and CPU aren't overheating. I've tried updating and downgrading the GPU drivers without success. My laptop, which has an Intel i9 CPU and an Nvidia RTX 2050 6GB graphics card, used to run games perfectly fine, but this issue appeared suddenly, and I'm running out of ideas.
I don't know what else to do. I've cleaned all the vents, reinstalled the graphics card drivers, tried undervolting and overvolting the GPU, and changed the Windows power plan but nothing has worked. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
