I want to completely disable all auto updates
of Google Chrome in Win 11
I tried going in to Servies.msc
That did not do it
Still getting constant reminders that Chrome did not update
It interrupts while typing...frequently.

I found a trick for Win 10 but not for 11

Any help appreciated

??? You don't wan Chrome to auto update or is it you don't want Chrome to send you notifications when for some reason it failed to update? Chrome updates are invisible to me, they just happen. I have never had an interruption caused by Chrome failing to update.
My Chrome is just a straight install with no alterations to it. Just the usual thing of making it the default.

I know this is probably not helpful but it suggests to me hat you installation is somehow different.

Vanilla install.
Never fiddled with it.
Now all of a sudden it interrupts frequently when I am typing a message or
looking at anything online
proclaiming "Chrome did not install properly" or some such nonsense.
Uninstalled, reinstalled, shut pc down and reinstalled in safe mode,
tried every solution found in last 2 months of searching.
It is still happening.
Restarted this very message 5 times because of a new window
popping up concerning reinstalling Chrome.

Have scanned all my drives with anti-virus, anti-malware and so on.
No problems here nechanically or otherwise.
Except the frustration factor.

It is now occurring every time I go online, every several minutes.
Constantly telling me to update.
Followed every possible solution.
Installing from StandaloneInstaller didn't help either.
Even when doing it while in Safe Mode.

There must be a solution...
