Hi,
My screen was malfunctioning (only displaying at the top), but it worked when I disabled the graphics driver and used the Basic Windows Adapter. It functioned well with an external screen. It seems to be a software or driver conflict.
Previously, the screen had partial functionality, but using an HDMI cable with an external monitor was fine. Both USB-C and HDMI connections are working.
However, after reinstalling Windows, hoping to fix it, I encountered a PAGE error followed by a BSOD. Ironically, the laptop screen worked (likely using a basic adapter during the crash, indicating a Windows issue).
Is there a way to enable the Microsoft Basic Adapter without seeing the screen?
Alternatively, is there a way to view the virtual screen or use an app to diagnose?
Can you network two laptops without using the screen?
