I have my screen saver set to select
from a directory of photos.
It works well, but I'd like to slow down
the time each image stays on screen.
How is this possible?

Thanks for assistance.

Are you using the default screensaver application or a third-party one? These apps have their own settings that might override the system settings. So, if you’re using a third-party app, check its specific settings for image duration.

Really curious. I had a similar issue and applied this procedure and for me it worked:
  1. Open the Settings app by pressing Win + I.
  2. Go to Personalization > Lock screen.
  3. Scroll down and click on Screen saver.
  4. In the Screen Saver Settings window, select Photos from the dropdown menu.
  5. Click on the Settings button next to it.
Here, you should see an option to adjust the slide show speed.

You might want to check the advanced power settings as well. Sometimes, the display settings there can interfere with your screensaver settings. Also, make sure your screensaver isn’t set to shuffle or play a slideshow from a different folder with its timing settings.
