After months of having the sleep option on my windows 11 PC, it has disappeared. I have tried everything I know in the troubleshooting guides to no avail. Specifically, I have followed the fixes in this article, https://https://www.makeuseof.com/windows-10-fix-mising-sleep-option/ and nothing worked. Everything was ok until yesterday and it is gone. I looked at updates and it appears that Microsoft installed a driver update, OEM - HIDClass - 18.16.37.672 yesterday. Don't know if this is related or not. I have,

Device name DESKTOP-TGR256U

Processor AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX with Radeon Graphics 3.30 GHz

Installed RAM 32.0 GB (31.4 GB usable)

Device ID B2D185E7-B375-47D6-9EBE-7E1BC8D61486

Product ID 00331-20300-00000-AA034

System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

Pen and touch No pen or touch input is available for this display

and windows version info:

Edition Windows 11 Pro

Version 22H2

Installed on ‎5/‎17/‎2022

OS build 22621.160

Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22632.1000.0

As an additional info item, one of my hdmi ports stopped working yesterday also. I'm trying to switch to a dp port once I get the cable to see if that takes care of the dual monitor issue. I have also reached out to manufacturer, Minisforum for advice/help.

You can sometimes do all the Internet fixes until your blue in the face. When all fails do a system reset with the save your data option. To restore all your applications at once use Ninite https://ninite.com/

On a brand new ASUS laptop, i enjoyed having the mouse waking up the system out of sleep and there was no way to fix it. Absolutely nothing! And of course, the Hibernate function that would automatically put Windows to Hibernate mode isn't there anymore. Suddenly, the machine began to bluescreen and nothing fixed that. Suddenly (and without warning) the Laptop went sailing back to the seller. Precious memories!
