Spatial audio is greyed out and I can't turn it on how to enable it?

I'm having trouble enabling spatial sound on Windows 11. I've tried various headphones and speakers that support spatial audio, including those with Realtek High Definition Audio. No matter which spatial sound option I select (such as Windows Sonic, Dolby Atmos, or DTS X/Ultra), it keeps switching back to "off" automatically.

I've already reinstalled and updated my audio drivers, but the issue persists. Is there anything else I can try to get spatial sound working properly
