Support for JPEG XL in Windows 11

Hello, it has been two years since the question about supporting JPEG XL in Windows 11 was first raised. Has Microsoft reconsidered this? JPEG XL offers significant storage benefits, and my photo library takes up half the space compared to the JPEG format.

Thank you for your time. I look forward to having this excellent format available in Windows.

The format is not listed in Paint or the Snipping Tool for the Save as. Don't have a third-party editor installed.
