Trouble Networking Two Laptops: Windows Credentials Not Recognized

Hey everyone,

I just got a new laptop and want to network it with my old one to share files, but I’m hitting a snag. Both laptops show up in the network section of Explorer, but when I try to access them, it asks for “network credentials” on both machines. I’ve entered what I think are the correct login details on each laptop, but it keeps saying the credentials are wrong.

I’ve even tried using the "Manage Your Credentials" tool to update the passwords, but no luck. Any idea what I might be doing wrong?
