Unable to detect a windows system drive

Hi,

I'm trying to run a system check by Windows Defender Remote.

When I access the DVD with the application' I get the following message:



"Unable to detect a windows system drive"



My Lenovo V520 runs a win11 system.



So, how come? Why can't the remote defender detect my windows system drive?

Can we assume you are talking about Windows Defender Offline??

IF so, how are you attempting to run it??

IF you are using the old offline ISO, it's probably not going to work for you.
Try the method built into the new scan options.
It'll reboot your system and should run without error.

That's assuming your drive isn't encrypted. I think that still causes issues with an offline scan.
