Hello,
I'm a photographer, I work with a calibrated monitor (via .icc profile) on a win 11 machine.
Photography wide it's all ok: apps which make use of .icc profiles are ok ( photoshop.....), so my calibration is good.
The problem concerns video clips render: they are way too saturated and contrasty. This appans in apps like windows madia player, vlc, Davinci Resolve (uses 3dluts) ecc ecc
Does Windows uses a different color profile for videos? I mean is that the case I use my .icc profile for photos but not for video render? how does ti works?
I tried using my dell laptop to compare same clips: I get normal renders and i calibrated it too the same way I did for my pc.
Thanks
