Turning your list of contacts (usually in Excel format) into a vCard (.vcf) file that your iPhone can read is the best way to move the contacts from the spreadsheet to your iPhone. You need to change the format of the Excel file before you can read it on your iPhone.

To do it, follow these steps:

  • Make sure that your worksheet is well in order. First Name, Last Name, Phone Number, Email, and so on should be written in each box. The information for one person should be in each box.
  • Make the Excel file into a VCF file type. vCard files are easy for iPhones to read. You will need a software that can migrate Excel files (.xlsx or.xls) to vCard files (.vcf) in order to complete the conversion of these files.
  • Move the vCard to your iPhone. Once you're done, you can email yourself the.vcf file, open the email on your iPhone, tap the file, and choose Add All Contacts. Everything will be added immediately to your iPhone.
This method is faster when you have a lot of names in your list because you don't have to add each one by manual.

To make the conversion process easier, you can use a tool like WholeClear Excel to vCard Converter. That tool swiftly converts your Excel sheet into a vCard file that works great on your iPhone. It's simple and easy to use. This can be especially helpful if you're not good with technology and just want a simple solution without a lot of steps. It can smoothly run on all Windows versions like Windows 11, 10, 8.1, 8, 7, Vista, XP, and other previous versions. Before upgrading to the licensed version you can try its free trial to test it out without any issues.

You save time and avoid making mistakes when you use this tool. It makes the whole process easy and stress-free.

I recently had a similar problem and learned a really easy way to resolve it. I wanted to put all of my contact information from a list on my Phone so I wouldn't have to type it all in. A specific tool that helped me perform well was Softaken Excel to vCard Converter. It takes your Excel file and changes it into a vCard (.vcf) file, which is how iPhones and other applications store contacts. After making the vCard, I sent it to myself via email, opened it on my Phone, and added the contacts right away.

I attached a video guide for you, hope its helpful
