Hi everyone,

I’ve had my PC for about 2 years, and for the past two weeks, it’s been randomly stuttering regardless of what I’m doing—whether I’m playing Call of Duty, watching YouTube, or even when nothing is open. The stuttering lasts about 1-2 minutes, and I often have to turn off the PC using the power button. Sometimes, it continues to stutter when I turn it back on, making me restart it again. Also, my audio cuts out and stutters during these episodes, which seems odd.

I’ve been in touch with the company I bought the PC from, but their suggestions haven’t resolved the issue. They advised me to factory reset, which I did, but the problem persists.

Here’s what I’ve tried before the factory reset:

Updating and reinstalling drivers
Disabling hardware acceleration on Discord and Windows (per their advice)
Leaving all XMP settings at default in BIOS
Following various YouTube troubleshooting videos
I’ve ruled out overheating since my temperatures are normal. My specs are:

GeForce RTX 3060
AMD Ryzen 5 5600x 6-Core 12-Thread
32 GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM
1TB HDD
1TB SSD NVMe
EVGA 650W 80+ Power Supply
I’m not very knowledgeable about computers in detail, so I’m hoping for some help here. Thanks!
