Hi,
I've encountered a critical issue with Windows 11 where, after the system goes into sleep or suspension mode, it becomes completely unresponsive. Neither the keyboard, mouse, nor power button can wake it up. The only solution seems to be holding down the power button to force a shutdown. However, when I reboot, the BIOS/UEFI fails to detect the drive where Windows is installed, preventing the system from booting.
No matter how many times I try to power cycle, reboot, or even remove the battery, the drive remains undetected. Strangely, after randomly experimenting with the Windows installer, the drive occasionally reappears after a reboot, but I have no idea what triggers this.
Running the repair tool from the Installer doesn’t resolve the issue. I suspect it might be related to loading the RST driver during the installation process, but I can't confirm that this is the solution. Interestingly, when I suspend or sleep the system in GNU/Linux, it doesn't experience the same problem and never locks up, so this seems to be specific to Windows.
Thanks for your attention.
