Windows Media Player edit plugin

In Windows 10, I could double click on a video file and the video would open in WMP plugin and I could edit the video.

Since I updated to Windows 11, double clicking on the video just opens it in WMP - no edit button.

Is the fix for this just a file association or has something changed with WMP? If it's just a file association, where do I find that in eleven?

I found I can use Photos to open videos and trim them so I've been using this instead of WMP.
