Xbox App Error 0x80004005 When Logging In

I just bought a secondhand gaming PC. When I launch the Xbox Live app and select my account to sign in, I immediately get error code 0x80004005 before it even asks for my password. I've updated all applications and software, ensured the date and time on my PC are correct, and reinstalled the app multiple times. I've also restarted my PC several times. My Xbox Game Pass is current and works fine on my Xbox console. How can I access my Xbox Live account on my PC?
