Lately, my PC has been crashing after closing games. I've ruled out overheating as the cause by monitoring temperatures with MSI Afterburner and HWinfo64, and even tried reapplying thermal paste to my CPU.
After checking the Event Viewer, I found several errors, most of them related to GameInput. Here are some examples:
The GameInput Service service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 1 time(s). The following corrective action will be taken in 1000 milliseconds: Restart the service.
The GameInput Service service terminated with the following error: The compound file GameInput Service was produced with a newer version of storage.
I would greatly appreciate any assistance.
