My Realtek audio device has disappeared from Device Manager, and there's no sound coming from my PC. The system prompts me to install the device, but here’s what I’ve tried so far:
SFC and DISM scans
HP diagnostics
Updated BIOS
Tried installing legacy hardware, which only brings up a blue window
Attempted to reinstall Realtek audio drivers, which unpack but don’t install
Rolled back the latest Windows 11 update
Tried System Restore, but it wouldn’t complete
This issue seems to be fairly common, but I haven’t found many effective solutions. Any advice on how to fix this? Thanks!
