Does anyone know how to remove the search box and "All Apps" button from the Windows 11 Start menu. I am able to do this under Windows 10 Group Policy. Same policy settings doesn't work under Windows 11.
Hi I am removing the Search Box with Explorer Patcher from Valinet: https://github.com/valinet/ExplorerPatcher
It has a lot of options to pick from, which allow in some way to combine the advantages of WIN 10 and WIN 11. Try it, if you want.
Valinet also gives a list of registry tweaks: https://github.com/valinet/ExplorerPatcher/issues/9
Not sure whether you can completely remove "All apps" however.
Edit: when installed, you need to rightclick on an empty space in the taskbar and open "Properties"
